Our Approach:
The path opens with a duo (doctor-patient; analyst-analysand; client-therapist; aspirant-coach; or simply two fellow-travelers) entering a dialogue. In this exchange, different observations, histories, experiences, theories, and questions are brought together in an inter-subjective field of exploration towards an evolving understanding of the issues: what is; how it works; and how it might be changed.
The model postulates our humanity as multi-dimensional, including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual, to name the main ones.
Our approach is multi-faceted including medical, and psychiatric, as well as other tools from meditation, and breathing exercises, to working with different spheres of consciousness. The psychotherapy and psychoanalytic approach, in contra-distinction to a counseling approach, involves a set of assumptions that include the notion that there are unique patterns in our perceptions, thought processes, behavior, and emotions, that as a cohort, tend to be repetitive, and in some respects not in the awareness of the person. These cohorts have different contributions from the multi-dimensional spheres of our existence and are also to some extent shaped by various factors beyond the present, and external. To the extent that such dynamics are better understood, and more fully brought into a deeper awareness, mastery, and change is facilitated.
The evolving process nature of this work is of much significance, in that, gains have to be attained, integrated, and built upon, in steps. How far, through what paths, and to what end is a personal decision.
In this process, where one might start from a state of perturbed, dis-eased, and struggle, the goal to reach is ease, harmony, and contentment to some degree or other.
