ABOUT
Dr. Safavi has close to 30 years of experience in the field, spanning all facets including private practice, and hospital care (University Hospitals of Cleveland; Mt. Sinai Hospital, Cleveland); agency consultations (Jewish Family Services Association, Cleveland; Chronic Illness Center, Cleveland); intensive outpatient care and partial hospitalization (Therapeutic Solutions, California); forensic and corrections services (California State Hospital, and California Department of Corrections); adolescent care, and geriatric psychiatry (Center for Healthy Aging, Lahey Outpatient Center Danvers, Beth Israel Lahey Health); as well as clinical research. He has also served in administrative and management roles- Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland; Connections: Health; Wellness; Advocacy, Cleveland; Lahey Outpatient Center Danvers of Beth Israel Lahey Health (Director, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Program). His teaching responsibilities have included serving as a medical student core clerkship director and teaching residents in psychiatry, as well as candidates in psychoanalytic training.
